From small in-person learning sessions to a student-led learning community
G&W Discover began in 2024 with small in-person learning sessions. Over time, it grew through consistent teaching, student mentorship, music and STEM learning, and community support.
G&W Discover started with small in-person learning sessions focused on math, biology, and peer support. Early efforts included organizing sessions, designing learning materials, recording lesson videos, and teaching students face-to-face.
2024 Highlights: The First Sessions
In 2025, G&W Discover continued through regular in-person tutoring and expanded its learning focus to include math, biology, and music. Students returned, new learners joined, and the project became more consistent through repeated sessions, teaching preparation, and yearly reflection videos.
2025 Reflection: Growing the Community
By 2026, G&W Discover had grown beyond tutoring into a student-led learning community. New peer tutors began taking on teaching roles, math team support became part of the program, and the project continued to grow through mentorship and service.

The story of G&W Discover is still growing — one session, one student, and one new peer tutor at a time.
